These Terms govern your access to and use of docs-keeper(the "Service"), operated by docs-keeper Inc. ("we", "us"). By installing the docs-keeper GitHub App, creating an account, or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Account
You sign in via GitHub OAuth. You're responsible for keeping your GitHub credentials and any installation-token access secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
2. What docs-keeper does
When you merge a pull request in a repository where docs-keeper is installed, we read the diff, generate proposed documentation changes, and open a follow-up pull request (or, in comment mode, post a suggested change inline). We never push directly to your default branch and never auto-merge.
3. Source code
We process the diff and surrounding context of merged PRs to draft documentation. We do not persist your full source code. We do persist: run metadata, generated diffs, validation results, and basic GitHub identifiers (commit SHAs, PR numbers, repo slugs).
4. AI output
Drafts are generated by third-party large language models routed through OpenRouter. Output passes a deterministic validation gate, but it is still subject to model limitations. You are responsible for reviewing and approving every documentation PR before merging it. We make no warranty that any draft is correct, complete, or non-infringing.
5. Plans and billing
Free-tier usage is limited to one public repository and 20 doc PRs per 30-day window. Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually through Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record). You can cancel any time; refunds are pro-rated only where required by law.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the Service to generate documentation for content that violates GitHub's Acceptable Use Policies, infringes intellectual property, or contains malicious code. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform, attempt to evade rate limits, or harm other users.
7. Termination
You can uninstall the GitHub App or delete your workspace at any time. We may terminate accounts that breach these Terms with reasonable notice except in cases of fraud, abuse, or legal demand.
8. Disclaimer & limitation
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
